Storm Over the Dairy Barn - 24"x36"
Early Spring visit to a friend’s Texas ranch near Stephenville yielded a couple of pleinair works which inspired and informed this larger studio piece. Storm clouds were gathering and hanging low, racing by, and reflecting the scene below….the “Dairy Barn”, with a spear of sunlight illuminating the new grass to a bright yellow by the stock pond.
